Putting it simply, without any euphemisms, men are far more anxious about their sexual prowess than women. They worry about their penis size, (not many women worry about our vaginas now, do we?), they fret about how quickly they come, how long their orgasm lasts, how many times they can put it up in an hour....their worries are endless. Here are 3 abiding rules all us girls should follow meticulously, to help our men relax and enjoy sex, without worrying too much about their performance.

Rule 1: Praise his moves

Assure him that he’s doing it right. Make purring sounds, tell him “yes, that’s just right” or “umm, that feels great”. Make him feel he is a great lover.

Never: Laugh at him in bed. If he can’t arouse you the way you want him to, don’t be rude. Hurting his sexual ego can damage your relationship irretrievably.

That doesn’t mean you have to fake your orgasm. Just show him lovingly, what he needs to do to make you sizzle.

Moral: Make your man feel like a Superman in bed

Rule 2: Men are vain about their bodies

Men are vain (too?!) They might have a paunch, they might be balding, but do they ever admit it? They’ll probably strut around naked in the bedroom, daring you to comment on their flab. If you love him, turn a blind eye to all that and tenderly reassure him that you find his receding hairline sexy or his slight paunch cute. He’ll be eternally grateful to you and his surging confidence will do wonders to your sex life too!

Never: Don’t fake your love for his flab. He’s not a fool and he will deeply resent your hypocrisy. If you find you just can’t overlook his not so great body, maybe the two of you can work out together. More togetherness in your rushed schedules!

Rule 3: Never cheat on him

It’s been statistically proven that women are more likely to forgive their partners for cheating on them, than men. Call it chauvinism, call it gender stereotypical, call it traditional and moralistic – but a man rarely forgives his woman for having sex outside their relationship. You might think your man is very liberal and will probably overlook a one night stand you’ve had with your colleague, but he will never be able to make love to you again with that same fervour and passion. Your infidelity will mock him whenever he wants to make love to you. Your sexual relationship will probably never be the same again.

Men expect sexual commitment from their woman. The security that comes from knowing that his woman is true to him makes him that more eager in bed.
